Guggenheim Museum in New York City

The Guggenheim Fanart Museum is a showcase of artistic talent in the LordKaT Mafia.

Named after the famous museum in New York City, where LordKaT resides, the museum is divided between fanart of LordKaT, his friends and stream guests, title card artwork, and artwork by community artists for community campaigns.

Dungeons & Dragons Fanart can be found at it's own article, The Hermitage.

Everyone is welcome to add to the Gallery. We encourage artists to add their own artwork, the community looks forward to these new additions. If you are interested in adding an image to the museum, please read the Adding Artwork section.

Adding Artwork

Artists! Please read this!

First of all, thank you for creating beautiful works of art for our enjoyment. We the people who follow the stream as well as people on the stream enjoy it immensely!

However you may want to consider uploading a copy of your art directly to the LordKaT wiki to make sure you are properly credited. More and more people are creating art related to the LordKaT stream. The problem is there is just too much art for one person to track and upload to the wiki. Your art despite being as awesome it is might go unnoticed from the vast number of fans as a result.

Also by uploading to the wiki you can choose a free license so that your work can be freely distributed while you are properly credited. Unlicensed images are assumed to be fully copyrighted and are difficult to distribute. Certain countries do not allow fair-use images which means presenting or publishing your content there would be impossible.

How to add a file to the wiki and how to add a file to a gallery

To upload a picture to the wiki:

  1. Copy the image to Paint or Photoshop.
  2. Crop out all white space/unnecessary space.
  3. Save in Paint/Photoshop as either a .jpg file or .png
  4. Click "Upload file" in the left sidebar of the Wiki, and click "Browse"; be sure you're looking for the right kind of file extensions (on mine it looks for 24-bit Bitmaps, which I don't save as). Find your image, and upload.
  5. Go back to Guggenheim, and under the correct category type File:filename.jpg|<description> by <artist> (or filename.png if necessary).

For further help in formatting your image, see Help Desk - How do I add an image to the Wiki? and the Mediawiki help page.

Above all, please: no pornographic, overly violent (essentially no gore), or defamatory content. Nudity will be allowed to an extent as judged by the Wiki Administrators. We're open-minded; just don't press your luck. :p
