Yeah, must have been a slow week in gaming.

Playing catch up after being away for a week, and I think a big reason why G+ messages are so short is that twitter and Facebook created the habit that posts must be squeezed into a small space. While this isn't true for G+ (or even Facebook anymore), the habit is there.

Also, long, interesting posts take work. And people are lazy. Much easier to post "Watch this! OMG [insert random youtube link]" then actually have a meaningful discussion on the video. Which is odd because I wonder how many people who do this would write 15 paragraphs in the comment section of the video.

Maybe that's what Google should do. Start calling Google+ posts 'comments'.
