So, would you say that this game was random?
Anyway, good job Jason. I look forward to the net game.

Nice Job jason, keep up the good work.
Thank you for another great review. I played this as a kid and always thought I just sucked. I have a bad memory so it just made me feel like I forgot where everything was. I eagerly await your next video.
Loyal fan.
BortHellscream.
p.s. GRRAAAA!!!!
Danke for this!
My request is Journey to Silius (NES) by SunSoft.
Next game his is doing is Journey to Silius. It is the only game I can think that started as a movie licensed game, but was not released under that license.
Thats what i'm betting he's going to be playing.
That game did originally have the Terminator license . . .But since they were taking a bit too long to make the game they were stripped of their license and we got the other games. . .
~Kalmana
How about the original terminator game for NES?
Great review, as always. Sometimes randomness in games is great (i.e. Diablo), other times it just annoys the crap out of you...
I am sooo psyched if the next game is Journey To Silius. What a gem of a game. It seriously should have been up there with SMB3, StarTropics, Ninja Gaiden, and the Mega Man series as classics. A diamond in the rough doesn't even begin to describe Journey To Silius... God damn, I love that game.
I really like untill we win, its nice to get a talk through the old games i used to spend so much time on! good job Jason, keep it up looking forward to following your stuff far into the future!
Great video. I got a chance to interview LordKat, you can check it out here - http://original-gamer.com/?action=article&id=901
...I am still requesting Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
However, it must be said here that I sincerely thank you for providing me with a LOT of entertainment free of charge. Yay.
I can haz cheezburger nao?
Man that was hard to follow. Hate to say it, but it was simply confusing how you explained the game.
Great video, never knew Rare made most of those games, always thought LJN created them. I remember this game, never quite managed to beat it, always ended up dying because I never knew how to respond to the toon patrol as a kid.
Could it be??? Journey to Sillius?
I sure hope so!
has to be Journey to Sillius. That game kicks ass!
FUCK YAH JOURNEY TO SILLIUS
Journey to Sillius had an insanely awesome soundtrack. The title music and the music from stage 1, and the music from the factory were amazing.
Trivia : The game was also know as Raf World in some countries.
Here's some remixes on YouTube :

Also Jason, you should think about doing Axelay sometime. It's a fun game. :)
is anyone else not getting ads anymore on videos? i have my ad blocking stuff turned off(or at least i have an exception for this site and a bunch of others) but i dont get the ads before videos anymore. if it's not a problem, that's fine. but i like to support guys like LordKaT, so i'm kinda concerned about it.
Great video. What a ridiculous game.
I still want to see you play through Fester's Quest. :)
I can't wait for Journey to Silius. You may want to consider doing Rygar at some point. Before there was God of War with it's swords with chains attached to them, there was Rygar with its shield with a chain attached to it? Anyway, this was a complex, items needed to progress game in the same vein as Metroid and Zelda. Only there was no way to save whatsoever. There was no password system nothing. According to wikipedia people would sometimes be forced to pause the game and leave their NES on all night sometimes for days. I don't know if it's even possible to finish this game in one sitting without using an emulator to save.
Re: ads. You're not having a problem. Blip currently has no advertising inventory for small producers like me.
Once again you give us a rather dynamite video, Jason (although I didn't really follow that thing about the magic building and its adjacent twin)! I always look forward avidly to your UWW's. As for the game, I never bothered to play far enough into that crapfest of a cart myself to get to the really hard part but I had indeed heard just how insanely difficult Doom could be so I suppose it's no surprise that so many people wanted the game on this show. *still waiting for The Lost Levels, cackle*
I haven't finished watching the video just now but... I am reading comments... Journey to Sillius?! Awesome if so because I had suggested that on TGWTG on his last UWW. I wonder if LordKat had already planned to do it or if it was partly my or another's suggestion or comment.
Journey to Silius. \o/
You should try 2 games, that are both underrated classics, and curiously difficult.
Robo Warrior
and
Solomon's Key
Both have excellent gameplay, the latter is a puzzle, and the above one is a pre-bomberman bomberman. :D
LordKat,
Thanks a bunch for completing this game. I remember playing this game a lot, having no idea what was going on, and getting killed by doom a lot. It's great to see the ending of this POS 25 years later.
Also, I am guessing the next game is Journey to Silius by Sunsoft. I can see I'm not alone here, but whatever. :)

LOVE your work Lordkat! Easily one of my favorite online reviews, and on TGWTG!
It's great seeing these old games I once played so very long ago, finally completed to their fullest, something that I had little patience to do back then.
Through frustration, anger, and perseverance, you always pull through for us in the end, and play those damned hard games, Until you Win! ;D
My brother and I managed to knock out Doom all of once, not even using the cheat!
Problem was, we didn't know what the hell to do with the cannon. Damnit.
Yeah Journey to Silius for sure.
I only heard about it from the HVGN video xD
HVGN?
This is one of the best UWWs so far. Jason's acting is improving also. Keep up the awesomeness!
Is the suspense killing anyone else?
@mogwaicub: The same thing happened to me! I rented the game when I was young. It took me an entire Saturday to get to Doom, and all of Sunday to beat him... and then the damn dip cannon killed Roger and Jessica.
I cried. A lot.
I hate all you idiots that requested this game. I know its fun to watch Jason torture himself, but let him torture himself with a good game, then the video will actually be of some use to the viewers since it will be a game they might actually play.
Ninja Gaiden, please.
I was hoping Jason would weigh in to tell us if I (and later we) are correct in out assumption of "Journey to Sillius". But he has not.
I guess Batman is the next in line? :-)
Batman for NES, and RoboCop for NES, please.
Nice video. Here are some request of games you should do for NES:
The Adventures of Rad Gravity, Gun.Smoke, Double Dragon III.
Keep it going.
Nice, but I guess there are other games more suitable for UWW.
Like Batman or Ninja Gaiden 3 (both NES).
Actually, I'm surprised you didn't use the password trick. If you went to the password screen, typed in "2" in all the blanks of the first section then "3" in the remaining blanks, you would start with several items and 3 pieces of the will with a baseball I think. (I think a "1" followed by "2" left you 1 piece of the will, either that or it was 3->4)
With that I got to Judge Doom once but could never have the patience to finish him off.
I'd love to see you do a walkthrough of Sub-Terrania, for the Sega Genesis. Very difficult game, unique, and fun. If you've never heard of it, it plays like Lunar Lander.. Or the pod part from Earthworm Jim. It's really good.
Have you seen the Nerd try to beat Ninja Gaiden?
Are you going to do that one(or all three) for an Until We Win
man, I always thought this was an easy game EXCEPT for Doom. I spent weeks as a kid trying to beat him. I think the best that I did was just getting him 3/4 of the way there. A few years ago I saw a video of how to beat him using the glitch and I spent a good 15 min slamming my head into my desk.
when i played this as a kid, i didn't know what the hell i was doing. And big thank you for explaining that cave with the snake in it. I just never could understand anything about what the hell was going on in this game.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is such a great game. Very underrated and deserving to be played.
I use to think Judge Doom was impossible until I found the rhythm to multi-hit and bounce him off the wall.
Do blaster master 2 for the sega genesis. That game was a real pain. I haven't seen any videos of anyone going through this game on the net. Would like to see it.
Hi Lordkat I have enjoyed your reviews so far including this one but I have one thing that needs to be said about this video: I couldn't care less about your childhood. Rare MADE mine. I judge Rare for what they are today not what they were before they grasped the concept of good gameplay and funny humour. I refuse to kiss your ass for liking a game that was actually good. I can forgive games like this because of Donkey Kong, Banjo Kazooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day. Hell Rare can admit to it's mistakes and isn't afraid to make fun of itself (Rare's first title on the Xbox was critically bashed and became a bit of a running joke in their latest title).
I'm just kidding it was a good video all around and I'm not really convinced you genuinely hate Rare but if you do, meh, fair enough I guess.
