Hey man great top 10 vid.I've got a couple of things i have to say (sadly i'll start with the bad):
this may be nitpicking but around 10th minute or so the music gets really high and we can't hear you THAT well, but it's still decent.(im not bashing or anything, just thought you might want to know that:) )
And second: can you post a list of music you used in that vid, 'cause every track was awsome.
Keep up the good work dude
You can watch LordKaT stream LIVE 24/7 at Live.LordKaT.com
I don't think Action 52 should be featured on Until We Win. Why? Because it's unwinnable! You want a good game based off a movie? Try HOOK for the SNES.
You want a ruthless game that takes place in a D&D dungeon where the DM is out to kill you on every single screen? Try "The Immortal" for SEGA.
I guess I should consider myself lucky that Wayne's World is the only game on that list I've ever played.
Hey Jason, long time viewer first time poster. The video was awesome as always but there's one thing I'd like to talk about (which I'm sure you might already be aware of). It regards Pacman: Pac-in-Time...
...in that Namco never 'really' made the game. Pac-in-Time was actually a rebranded version of a game made by Kalisto Entertainment called Fury of the Furries (I hightly recommend this game by the way). Granted, the Super Nintendo version of Pac-in-Time was completely different in terms of level design and graphics, yet the sound effects (the fireball, enemy damage, bubbles etc) and the gameplay itself (4 interchangable powers etc) are completely identical to Fury of the Furries. The PC, Mac and GameBoy versions of Pac-in-Time are quite literally the exact same game as Fury of the Furries with a different main character sprite.
I'd say if you're looking for a game to try out, check out Fury of the Furries. While it may not be the hardest game, it does have some elements that are down right sadistic (one puzzle involves interchanging your powers in hopes that you find the right combination to finish the level). As far as I'm aware it's considered abandonware and the MS-DOS version can be found here: http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/279/Fury+of+the+Furries.html
...aaaand that's my sales-pitch done for this week.
Well I see my request(s) didn't make the top ten. I guess that means Jason may play them sooner then the rest of these games.
by the here are a few of my suggestions
sega genesis
sunsoft Superman.
Death of Superman not sure if this ever made it to SNES
X-men/Spider-man Arcade's revenge I know this was on SNES
Dick Tracy-I know you did the nes version try the Sega version.
The Tick
I know there's more but I know your tired and need a rest.
Fortunately, I've been spared most of that list except for one: The Pagemaster.
I actually did beat that game, but I'm telling you don't bother playing it on UWW. Its not worth it. No really, its not. Very stupid and pointless game with a crappy ending.
I played "Rocky and Bullwinkle" and "Back to the Future" and I'd heard of "The Pagemaster". The rest of this list was chock full of complete unknowns to me, and I have a feeling I'm better off for it. The two I played were horrible, horrible excuses for games. I -did- manage to beat "Rocky and Bullwinkle", but I ended up trading "Back to the Future" for "StarTropics" and never, ever looked back.
LIVIN' LARGE Lord Kat, LIVIN' LARGE!!! lol
Nice list and I'm sure you'll have even more to add one of these days. Ofcourse you could also try your hand at playing Ultima: Exodus for the NES (One of the worst rpgs I've had the experience to play, thank goodness Ultima: Quest of the Avatar made up for that mess). Startropics 1 and 2 could also make for a good challenge some time, or the old Data East classics Robocop and Karnov.
lol I was half expecting "ET","Superman 64" and "I wanna be the guy" to be somewhere on this list.
I did beat the first level in Yogi Bear. Is that game really worse than Dragon's Lair?
Well, here are some good requests for your series.
Adventures of Rad Gravity
Burai Fighter
Isolated Warrior
All for NES.
