I never go back to play games like that a second time. I hate when they do that.
We've got a new Intro thanks to Steve Amm of Ammination.com! Let me know what you think of the new intro - yay or nay?
In the Capcom Classics Collection version of this game, the weapon select via the analog stick certainly made this game slightly easier... and I mean slightly. (I still had to play the hell out of those levels, and switching to the crossbow in Sardius' arena makes the boss himself a total joke.)
Btw, about that bracelet, its range increases as you upgrade your armor, and it can destroy projectiles. Other than that, I agree with what you think of that weapon.
One last thing. Concerning the red gargoyles, when I fight them, I wait for them to land and then I wait until they actually go charging right at me before I unload my weapon on them.
ahhh that's just evil, making you play it again. Curse you Capcom!
how about trying blaster master, blaster master 2, 7th saga, and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Eye of the Beholder. And punch out for NES (just the last fight with tyson or Mr. Dream).
As far a Sardius goes, he's a piece of cake.
Just stand on his left foot, and wait until the platforms return to his midsection then double jump onto one of them.
Unless he has delayed his attack a before the platforms meet again you won't get hit.
If he delays his attack don't jump, it's a surefire way to loose.
Thought i'd add that.
The ice level is the second time you meet the red gargoyle. You meet him JUST BEFORE the checkpoint of level 3. Also, the hands on Freon are very easy to avoid. He always attacks where you ARE, so as long as you leave room behind you when he shoots, you can just walk slightly backwards and he'll completely miss.
Anyway. Great vid, man. This is one of my favourite games of all time.
I invented a new drinking game
take a shot for every time you say "play the hell out of" or "pixel-perfect"
looove it, thank you so much
