The file size for this one is almost 20MB a minute. Please use VBR and two pass filter and you will be able to bring down the file size greatly. I have a fast connection and it was still stuttering, besides that if I end up watching this episode twice in one month it's like 1GB of the 250GB cap my provider has :/.

Anyway, yeah, Metal Storm is a fun game, I like flipping the gravity around XD akthough some boss are retarded easy if you know what you're doing, one including just standing around under him and firing away xD

A fun game, but seems to be an odd choice for an UWW, one of the games i remember having zero problems with, can still beat it in like 30 min. Oh well, maybe just cause I played the crap out of it :)

Excellent review! That footage Lordkat made with the 3-way laser boss makes him look like an artist. I also like it when he compares the games to their Japanese counterparts.

On a side note:
I think the people who complain about the savestates aren't being fair. It's obvious that Lordkat could beat these games without savestates, but it would take longer and we'd miss out on extra footage. We would need to wait months in advance to see the next video! Please guys, let's not ruin this great series over a minor element. Lordkat is doing his best. It takes lots of balls to make videos for the internet and attempt to impress people. That flying ship laser boss was crazy. It reminds me of the 2nd form of the final boss in Ninja Gaiden for just the shear craziness of the projectiles. This is a pretty awesome game haha.

I've been wondering myself which came first in the gravity-gimmick department, and it looks like Metal Storm came BEFORE Megaman 5 in terms of using it. This makes me wonder if Metal Storm was a factor in the creation of Gravity Man. I know they're not the same company, but according to release dates Metal Storm and Megaman 5 were released in the same year with about a 7 month period between the two games... so I figure that's more than enough time to get the gravity gimmick in. Albeit Capcom gave Megaman 5's gravity a more restrained approach (by limiting it to being controlled by the flashing arrows in the background representing different regions of gravity).

I wonder if and when you will attempt Plok. I know I keep suggesting it but it's one of those good yet unknown hard games.... sort of like Demon's Crest though Demon's Crest is rather easy aside from the last 2 true bosses.

The people complaining about the save states have got to be the dumbest of the dumb. I really fail to realize how can anyone be THAT stupid. Exactly How many times do we have to explain to you IF HE DOESNT USE SAVE STATES, UWW WILL COME OUT ONCE A MONTH, IF YOU ARE LUCKY.

It takes way too much time to play and record everything and the save states are the only way he can speed it up, without using actual cheat codes.

All the tips he gives you to beta the game are legit. All the games can be beaten legit. All the games he has beaten before, without using save states.
