Seems like a truncated and harder version of Megaman. I guess I should look up the story somewheres so the battle against Mech-female-god doesn't give me the brain worms.

LoL the "Diabolical hamster contraption" is a Japanese Gashapon machine (^w^). This game looks really fun though Ill try the Japanese version and see the full story. Thanks for the Lets Play!!!

Wow! I never knew this game existed. Obviously, it's a total MegaMan clone! Another MegaMan clone I can remember is a NES game called, "Whomp 'Em."
This play guide was fantastic! If I wanted to take on The Krion Conquest, I know for a fact I could beat it without question. Thanks for the review!

Great Job Jason. I'm still want to see you tackle sunsoft superman. There a few places in that game where you will die a lot. Maybe you can do it with Linkara as a crossover.
On a different Subject. I watched the Kickassia bloopers. I thought it was funny when you we're chanting and made it look like it was a heavy metal chant. Very funny along with a few other gags. Maybe you could do a vlog about the making and some of the bloopers.

I love the fact that you're always picking somewhat obscure games to review! :P I had never heard of this before your play-through and I think I might give it a shot.
It's pretty funny how this is like a mixture of Megaman, Holy Diver / Zelda II (see the spell list function) and some mechanics similar to Kiwi Kraze (the fact that the game has parts underwater and you'll need to jump to get air instead of getting air from bubbles like Sonic).
The last boss looks cool! :P Keep up the awesome vids LK. :P

This is an interesting game. But I wonder what made developers want to make there games harder in western territories other than the renting system (Like what happened to battle toads)

Cool review. Its an interesting game, but Rockman Deus Ex Machina and Rockman No Constancy are way more difficult. Still that no continues bull shit ramps this game up a notch.

it's your standard side scrolling shooter only you play as a submarine and you constantly have to worry about saving people from killer whales once you obliterate their home and refueling.
There are 1-ups but i don't think there are continues and it actually has a story.

I wonder how hard LordKat will find an Amiga exclusive called "Damage: The Sadistic Butchering of Humanity". Very small-pixel-ish, but good for Halloween. The ending involves starting a nuclear war. That is, after you kill tons of old ladies and bash kids' heads with a baseball bat. The poster of the ending video on YT admits he had to cheat. :)
Emulation is a bit tricky, if one in new to WinUAE/WHD, but possible. Just don't forget a joystick/pad - the game needs it.

Actually that was a mistake in his Battletoads video. Battletoads was released in the US first, and then it was later released in Japan and was made much easier. Battletoads' difficulty had nothing to do with rentals, it was just Rare being sadistic. (Though it's still a really fun game)

I hope Kid Icarus isn't next. That game doesn't need to be on UWW since so long as you know to kill as many enemies as possible to get health and attack power ups, the game is a piece of cake.

I don't think he has a strict regimen of playing older games (like AVGN), but if you think about it, video games these days tend to be pathetically easy. Back in the NES days, gamers actually gave a shit about getting a legitimate challenge from their video game companies, so it's no wonder why Jason mostly does older games.

Once you get to Date 3-3, the female will finally become vulnerable. Once she becomes vulnerable, she will reveal her weak spot. Then, you will need to use your BALL magic in order to win. But! Be careful, if it is actually a lesbian, in disguise, then your BALL magic will not work! :O If that's the case, do not panic. Just use your BROOM magic, instead. If you've made it this far, you should be a BROOM master by now, and will not need me to tell you what to do....
