Fuck yeah just got home with a burger, and new lordkat!!!
Yes, I know the gameplay footage is fucked up in some parts. I had major problems with the video conversion from ogg to avi this time around and vegas just wouldn't play nice with it. I salvaged as much as I possibly could.

I thought this UWW was going to be Bebe's Kids on the SNES? I was really looking forward to that, but still a great UWW though.
Give me your burger! >:V
Good show, but may I make a suggestion for a future UWW? Animaniacs for the SNES. Good god when I played this in my early teens, I was driven to wanting this sent to the other side of the world, preferably in pieces.
I hope it wasn't one of Wendy's Triple Baconaters, otherwise this might be the last video you ever watch!
Nice, what I wanted for my birthday, a new UWW episode!
What on Earth would a Walrus gain from imprisioning Kiwi Birds? Whatever, another great UWW.
Okay, here's my question. How long did you play this game before you had to mute the sound to silence that insufferable, interminable, incredibly catchy melody that plays in EVERY SINGLE STAGE? I just remember that song driving me absolutely bonkers when I last played this game.
Nice episode, as usual. You know, I feel like recommending Megaman for the Gameboy (Megaman in Dr. Wily's Revenge). That game is killer. Even though it has a password system, I would honestly say it's FAR more difficult than the NES version. But it's Megaman, so it's still tons of fun to play.
Lordkat, can you please talk about Amagon. I could never get very far. Also will you continue your series about eating movie food, like the milkshake from end of days?
What's wrong with the video? It won't play. I can view every other UWW video and Vlog on the site but this one.
No Bebe's Kids? Hum, maybe next time. And what a weird game that Kiwi Kraze shit!
was this also called New Zealand Story in the PAL territories?
Great vid, as usual!!
Nice addition to the series, hopefully we will see more obscure but difficult games beaten in the future. Consider doing Xevious or the 3D Battles of World Runner for the NES sometime.
Keep them coming!
Guh. Dude; don't feed Vegas ogg or mp4 videos, because usually it just flatly craps with them...
Grab an ffmpeg-based video converter (like Pazera Free FLV to AVI, altho, I'm not sure if it supports OGG's) and convert the footage to mpeg. THEN Vegas will play along nicely.
It's kinda sad, since Vegas is pretty sweet piece of machinery.
So what are the odds of getting a 2 player Bubble Bobble Until We Win. I mean its not the real ending unless its on 2 player.
Hey LK. Not sure what video capture software you use or what kind of problems you've been having, but whenever I use it, I have very good luck with the Moscow State University Screen Capture Lossless Codec. It's very low overhead and has been reliable for me, and the quality is indeed very good. If it matters, I believe it captures video in either YUV2 or YV12.

If you hadn't said anything about the video corruption I wouldn't have bothered noticing. Seriously, your setup is too geto to be apologizing for stuff like that. Don't be so hard on yourself! Great episode!
I hope you'r joking... I can go through this game in less than an hour. Sooo easy
MMM, sorry for last comment, I meant...
Good show, but may I make a - Anonymous

awesome vid ;)
I liked it! I also liked the idea someone gave of eating a burger while watching these UWW. It sounds like that would make the experience even more enjoyable.
Well I have a suggestion for a future UWW! Wanderers from Ys III. It's very hard but at least it has a colorful ending.
Great show like usual Lord Kat. Can't wait till your next review.
Dude, play Werewolf the last warrior. That game is givin' me shit right now.
The collision detection in the arcade version (the one on Taito Legends) is a little more forgiving.
It's strange that there are five levels, but only four of them have bosses. The whale, the octopus, the statue, nothing, and finally the walrus. I have to wonder if that was a last-minute developer's decision following some beta testing. I don't think I've ever gotten past world 2, so I'm not sure if the arcade version has this omission.
Keep up the good work, Jason
Nice video.
Just a recommendation, why not try the game Mercs on the Sega Genesis on the "original mode". You only get one life, no continues. Looks tough.
Do blaster master 2 for the sega genesis. That game was a real pain. I haven't seen any videos of anyone going through this game on the net. Would like to see it.
I know this is a childish comment, but seriously, pause the video at 00:12 to see LordKat at his...'finest'?
Anyways great review, as always.
To the person asking about why there's only four bosses- the spike maze is essentially the 'boss' of World 4 :p It's like that in the arcade version too, although there's a glitch to skip the entire thing if you want.
Very nice walkthrough for quite a challenging game, although it's a shame you didn't mention the secret warps- they're handy for 'practicing' later levels.
