dude your faaaaar cooler than spoony, he's just annoying...like if bill and ted were still popular. and the whole dr mad scientist thing he does.... ugh. you dont need to be another gimicky angry video game reviewer...we got a guy for that ... what u do is way more important...you teach us to play games....until we win!! (i also created an account just to say this! lol )
Hey Spoony fans: listen, I know Spoony is far more talented than I am, but I recorded this video on Sep. 12, and Spoony released his on Sep. 13. My video was released sometime early on Sep. 13 (around 3am). Please stop e-mailing me about how I'm supposedly ripping off Spoony, because I didn't, and I'm fucking insulted that some of you would even insinuate that.
Hey there, been following your videos as of late and I must say they're quite good. I've been around the internet watching several tons of reviewers spew bullshit and try to rip of AVGN and such, but you've got a style all your own and I enjoy it. You're a respectable gamer in the sense that you don't save state/cheat to get through the games unlike so many others. I'd like to make you an offer: I'd like to help you with your videos. Albeit farfetched, I believe I have a vast knowledge of video games/writing that could aid you in your videos to come. I don't want any screentime whatsoever, just to help you create essentially what you've been doing now. If this offer intrigues you, send me an email at , if not, at least I tried. But I believe we have a similar outlook on gaming and a product of our two minds working together could be quite impressive. Take care.
Just subscribed and I have been really enjoying your videos. Especially this video it reminded me of my childhood (good and bad) and I hope to see some reviews of the classic DOS games and Redneck Rampage if you can get it to work (I had the same problem). Have a good one.
HA! I love Spoony, but he didn't invent standing in front of a bookshelf, having books on display, or talking about books you own. If I did a vlog, I'd show off my books. Talking about/recommending books you like? Hoo-Hoo Robin, Amazon, com is rippin' off The Spoony One!
Awesome! Love to see someone who played the classic Sierra games! And I definitely remember the headaches involved in getting CD-ROM drives to be recognized in DOS! And to discover you also enjoy classical music… Are you sure you're not a clone of me? Or vice-versa?
i just started watching your stuff and let me tell you, I don't see you as a rip off of spoony. People that go "hey I know other people who did this so this guy is ripping them off" are idiots and I think you know that too. Please dont feel insulted from idiots cause you will get a lot of them accusing you of stuff. If so then you're a ripoff from spoony who's a ripoff of AVGN who's a ripoff of some guy who inspired him until the beginning of time, who cares. Dont get insulted that there's idiots on the internet.
I like your style in Until we win, its a kind of original thing to do an you do it very good. I'm a bit scared you will follow the nostalgia-model that everyone on his site seems to follow (30 second intro - cameos, people/dolls visiting being comic relief). Its a good concept but too many people seem to do it these days and if its anything I love about your videos its how much information you actually work with that you just hand out. Its way funnier than if you had some kind of doll or something to talk to about it. Please don't turn out like that because you're a fresh wind :(

wonderfull little DVD collection you've got there! especially firefly and MST3000! Both are nearly unknown here in germany. Sad that firefly didnt make it past season 1. Keep up your very good work with UWW. You beat games I never was able to do like battletoads (what a pain in the ass!). It takes me back to my childhood in a real gamer view. Maybe some day you'll try to beat kabuki quantum figter (NES). This was my biggest arch nemesis back in childhood. So long and thanks for all the fish
I'm a new fan, and I just ran across this in your archives. Your going through your old floppies nearly brought tears to my eyes. I was a kid on the tail end of the floppy disk's life span. I don't know if you've ever played it or not, but the game I remember most on floppies, and even talked my middle school computer class teacher into letting me install on the school computers was Commander Keen IV & V. If you ever end up with more space, PLEASE make your memories shrine bigger. I think this is a really cool concept and it makes for an interesting set piece, though I'm sure if you wanted to take something out of it, it'd be a real hassle, perhaps somebody might be able to make you a modular shelving thingie so you can keep your unique setup, whilst lending it greater stability and function. Though as it stands, it is a piece of art.
Bacon Grease makes Halushki Better.
You're a good video maker. You can just talk for thirty minutes about what you have to say, and its good.
Man i didnt even notice it before, but i have the exact same computer as you have(Or had, i quess it broke down.)
I've been constantly pausing the video and opening new tabs to look up some of this crap you're talking about...
This is kind of late, but as of December 2009 Redneck Rampage does run under DosBox (December being the last time I played it). I can't remember exactly how, but it may have taken some changes to the config file.
Nice, Never seen anyone admit to liking Lewis Black aside from myself. Sierra is also one of my favorite gaming companies, especially was as a kid, and it's good to see someone who still appreciates their games even after their change. Those Night Angel books look interesting. I've been looking for something to read after I finish up the novels I'm on, so I will definately take a glance. Good stuff.
Spoony is a good reviewer. But you are also a good reviewer. Both of you have different styles, that's all. There isn't a better between reviewers, just differing oppinions and presentations.
