There are 2 hints to help you being a GM. if you want the party to go to town A but they go to town B however they didn't know that they were to go to town A guess what town A is now town B and viceversa. Next have some plug-ins in mind. Party is beyond where you wanted to end well you have a 5th level generic fight prepped just in case. it's only a few more minutes work and they don't go bad.
