Hmm. Speaking as a South Jersey lady, I can say that it's probably an acquired taste (one that I very much have acquired). But I've also noted it's not anything special cold. You probably tried it warm but I don't know. Either way, it's funny seeing your take on something I love haha.

I'd say just about everyone here in central PA loves scrapple.. ..but I honestly never saw the appeal. However, it is better when mixed with other things instead of by itself.

Scrapple > Bacon
All I can say is...
A) Slice it thin
B) Fry it up in a skillet
C) Blacken both sides
I usually put a little dash of salt on it. It's just incredibly delicious. I never tried that brand of scrapple though. The brand I usually pick up is in a red white and blue package, I forget the exact name though. Perhaps that's the problem.
