I was immediately disappointed when LordKaT didn't eat the country of Norway. Great video though.
Special thanks to Osse at the Live.LordKaT.com stream for the donation!
I like how he stares at the drink in the "title card" like "wut is this i don't even".
This is awesome. You have to do more from Scandinavia. It's so funny to hear you try and speak the Norwegian language, it just have to be just as awesome to hear you talking Swedish and Danish. And don't worry about butchering our language. There's a lot of Norwegians that are butchering the English language.
BTW the lompe is most often used with Vienna sausage (google translate, hope it was correct), though it was interesting seeing you eat it with everything else. And it's made of potatoes. And I was laughing my ass of when you tried the gammalost and pultost. Awesome, just awesome.
Man, I love the LordKaT Eats-series. Nice to hear some Norwegian, being German I at least understood tiny bits like Konserveringsmiddel (preservatives). Hope you keep on testing morsels from around the globe. Do you know Marzipan over there? Or... well, the one sweet with the problematic name (Negerkuss/Mohrenkopf = Negro kiss / Moor head)?
"If this is canned pureed child in a can we're gonna have issues."
Ha ha ha. ^.^
Very nice work LordKaT. I bet the sweet fish is fermented fish.
I'll have to say that watching this, as a Norwegian, was pretty awesome. Hearing foreign people trying to speak our language is - and always will be - very funny.
It's pretty understandable that you didn't like some of the cheese products, but believe me, most of the products of the evil woman brand are tastier than that.
And yeah, the candy and soda produced here usually makes up for the weird food.
I too loved this episode!
It was everything I hoped for when I sendt the package :D
As a Norwegian myself, this was a very amusing video. I guess Norwegian food is pretty weird from an outsider's point of view. And yea,h I totally get your distaste for our spread cheeses. That's some nasty stuff.
Actually, this video actually inspired me to do a small video response. In the video I explain a bit about the true purpose of the "lompe". You can view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JA_BgWemKc
God damn, i remember this, i was sitting at home laughing my ass of. this is probably the greatest thing i ever watched live.
Ps. Not all norwegians LIKE gammalost -.-
Aw dude, you gave him the cheap, bad tasting makrell i tomat! :P
Stabburet's is so much better!
I'm sorry that I'm asking dumb questions so late to the party, but... Was "open, damnit, open" a Transformers movie ('86) reference?
