MRE's are freaking fantastic, especially if you get the right kind. :)
The chili mac is my favourite and I stocked up on them at the PX.

The powdered coffee is usually freaking terrible though. :(
And remember, don't chew the gum!! (legend has it among my army friends that the gum is designed to make you shit.)

One of them also comes with cheez whiz and crackers, which will block up the ol' works for easily a month.

The egg stuff looked like the spray insulation. Like eew. XD <3

I love MREs, I've tried every kind, and they are right the omelet is by far the worst. Also yes were doing it right, eventually it just becomes second nature and you can finish the whole thing in just a few minutes. You've probably already eaten the Spaghetti With Meat Sauce by now, that one is my favorite. I love the Raspberry Cobbler that comes with it, especially if you heat it up with your spaghetti. Mmmmm!!

the omelet is the second worse MRE i have ever had, the worst one is country captain chicken. also the hot drink bag is great for water proofing cigarettes
