In a break from the usual Wyrmwick campaign, we bring you this brief intermission - a round of Ironclaw with the games creator and our host, Norman Rafftery.

So I got to ask, Jason, would you play Ironclaw again on the stream, or is this a guaranteed one-shot?

Yeah, we had fun playing it - the system is unique enough to warrant a second session, at the very least. Now I've just got to find a way to fit the game in somewhere.

Hope there will be a next session. It was really awesome and a nice break from Wyrmwick. Also made me want to buy the book, so good advertisement there.

I would love to see a Jadeclaw play through....pandas fighting with kung fu has proven to be awesome anyway.

I think most of us enjoyed the game, just for the fact we learned about a new pen and paper game. Also, players have taken the game more and more seriously has they progressed through the game. It's a nice change of pace from dnd which is a good thing, because it let Jason take a break.

On a final note : What is with the program, so many botch rolls ?

It was a joy to watch and Norman Rafftery acquitted himself and his game well.

Cool session. At first I wasn't much into the dice system this game uses, but it didn't take long for me to come around. It's a pretty cool concept, and I really like the way that skills are actual things you 'use' rather than just something you have on a character sheet and add into your rolls.

After only a single listen, I don't think either system is better than the other, just different with different advantages, and probably just based on preference which gets preferred.

Would love to see another session. I can see it now, Table Top weekends with D&D on Saturday and Ironclaw on Sunday :p
