Kerbal Space Program?

I'm not sure if he already has, but LordKaT should check out Kerbal Space Program. The game is about building your own rocket and seeing how far you can get with it. It's still in beta, but is very fun.

League of Legends is my

League of Legends is my recomendation, i just suggest that you play with a group of people in a inhouse game first to see if you like it, because a lot of people can be anal about things, though generally depending on ur level u do get people close to ur same level.

Eternal Silence is a game where u fight in space mostly through spaceships to destroy the teams ships, or to board them and take over their ship. This was a fun game that me Arclight and several others decided to pick up and play and we had a blast, until he called me a fat cow for not waiting for him ;(

Natural Selection probably one of the best independent games u could get that uses the old half-life engine is basically a game of colonial marines vs aliens and it is amazing. Currently they are going through beta-testing for Natural Selection 2 so I suggest playing this game atleast once with a group of friends just to have a good time. Prolly best to play combat mode which is essential team deathmatch at first and then play the NS mode where it actually has some strategy for it.

Super Robot Wars J. I don't know if ur a big fan of japanese mecha anime's but if u don't mind them I insist that you try this game thats on the GBA. It is one of the few games that actually has a main character and robot that u can pick. It is a strategy rpg like Fire Emblem but if ur guy dies you just pay money to fix his mech. This is prolly one of the better SRW games and you dont even need to be a fan of mecha to enjoy this as most of the major plot elements are included in the game anyways.

More suggestions

Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey (DS): To put it simply, it's dungeon crawler games where you recruit and fuse demons to join your party. Of course it's hard and a bit loaded with story.

Etrian Odyssey 3 (DS): Another dungeon crawler that's kind of hard. You make your party of adventurers and go around in a labrynth slaying monsters. Relatively simple in story.

(might update more suggestions on this post)

I highly Recommend this game to anyone. It's one of those Lifetime Game you need to play before you stop gaming.

It's the Creators or Earthbound but it's an actual sequel that's one of the most emotional experience as an RPG. it will make you happy, sad and moved by it's actions. I totally recommend this to anyone including Lordkat.

PS: I know LK will probly not want to play CSS, but I think it would be fun to fuck around with the minigame maps for CSS.

One last game

LordKaT should really play Nightmare House 2, ( http://nh2.wecreatestuff.com/ ), this game is incredibly well made, has good graphics, it's a free HL2 mod (requires that Source SDK base 2007 is installed, and along with it, Source SDK base 2006), AND IT'S SCARY AS HELL. I almost shit my pants playing through this.

OK, i guess I'll throw in a suggestion. Since he likes Civ5, I'd like to suggest Tropico 3 and see if he can pull of the Mardi Gras without cheating. That game is really hard and takes some getting used to. I haven't seen the Mardi Gras in the game yet, but I'm still trying.

Cthulhu Saves the World
Breath of Death VII: The Beginning

and this last one is sorta a joke, since it isn't what I would call a good game, but it would be awesome to see LK play it.
The You Testament and other games, by MDickie.

Since someone brought up SMT

Since someone brought up SMT with Strange Journey, I'll go out on a limb and also suggest Nocturne. Don't let the difficulty turn you off, Jason. This game is one of the finest RPGs the PS2 has to offer and everything is incredible across the board. Not once nor twice you should just play SMT: Nocturne thanks to its story and multiple endings and variety of demons that 'll keep you coming back for more.

Also:

* Dragon Age: Origins
* Xenogears (An old classic for the PS1. If you got PSN, you can find it and buy it)
* Chrono Trigger
* NHL 94 (Both the SNES and Genesis versions. You should give them a try!)
* Dead Space 1
* Batman: Arkham Asylum (Watch for Arkham City!)
* Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (If only so you can play MGS 2 and 3 and Peace Walker and see how great they are on a PS3 or X-Box 360)
* Diablo or Starcraft

Eh, thought of something to add to the list, an entire series of rpgs, the Avernum series of games. To be honest, you only need to play 1 of the 7 Avernum games, imo, and that's the 4th one, Blades of Avernum, but the other games in the series are good as well.

In fact, I would recommend ALL of the games made by this studio, Spiderweb Software, such as the Geneforge series, Nethergate, and Avadon.

My Pick Is..

I'd like to see LordKaT play "Ephemeral Fantasia" which was on the PS2. Mostly because I found the game to be fun with its battling system and story, but also because it was personally for me, the hardest and most frustrating RPG I've ever played, and never beaten.

Just thought of another

I just thought of another game that I think LordKaT would enjoy playing/streaming for the entertainment of all. One of my favorite games of all time "Full Throttle" on the pc from way back in 1995. Music from the Gone Jackals, voice acting from the late great Roy Conrad and Mark Hamill. Excellent game.

A few suggestions for games

A few suggestions for games to give a go, for LordKaT or anyone else of course :-]:

OpenTTD
Classic, old tycoon game with a lot of content provided from a very active community. It is under a GNU General Public License.
Under a Killing Moon
An adventure gaming gem that manages to incorporate FMVs without being cheesy, silly or stupid.
Hard Reset
A refreshing indie FPS game that in many ways is an homage to Ye Olde Days of first person shooters.

If you have tried out or are not up to any of these, I apologize in advance. And if you give any of them a go, I hope they are enjoyable, or at the very least can lead to some derp moments to add to the already large library of LK Live derpary.
