Let's keep them all in the one thread!
A game called Frogatto
http://www.frogatto.com
I'll just copypasta the stuff I put in the suggestion thread I made
Now, aside from Telltale, the adventure game scene has been pretty barren in recent years. As someone who enjoys the genre I was extremely happy to find an adventure game that not only had an interesting story, but thought provoking and fun game play as well. This game was Gemini Rue, by Wadjet Eye Games.
(note: I'm just going to put plot information from the website here, no spoilers, just their little promo blurb info.)
In Gemini Rue you take two roles, the first is Azriel Odin. An ex-assassin who's searching for his brother on the planet Barracus. The second is Delta-Six, a man who wakes up in a hospital with no memory, no name and no idea who he can trust. While early on the game linearly swaps you between the two roles you eventually gain the freedom to switch between the two whenever you like.
Gemini Rue's characters are really only one of the things that makes the game so engrossing for me, the atmosphere has a very film noir vibe, especially when playing as Azriel, combined with a sci-fi universe that is rather reminiscent of Bladerunner.
For anyone interested Gemini Rue can be found at http://www.wadjeteyegames.com/geminirue.htm and can be bought for only fifteen dollars. For anybody hesitant to buy it there is also a free demo you can try.
Repsotin mah topic post here and I hope it gets some attention this time :V
Havent seen a topic on this one, but I wanted to put forth an indie game that I find to be not only an enjoyable game, but what I find to be a prime example of good game design, Iji. To the point where I'm writing an essay for my course based around one this this game exhibits
Choice.
You hear the word and think Mass Effect or Oblivion, but this is just the illusion of choice.
Iji works on the basis of "Choice as a Constant". Everything you do in this game, enacts changes in future events, from changes in dialogue from not reading logbooks, to previously inaccessible areas at certain times to entire gameplay changes in levels.

Iji, Graphically, simple, Aesthetically, intruiging, Gameplay, erratic, but in the good way.
and for the first time in a long time, a story that is actually the centre of gameplay, as opposed to just an addition.
i think a great indie game of the week would be dungons of dreadmor.
it is a rogue-like with a good sens of humor, it uses a turn based system and has a hugh verity in diffculty so it will be good for ppl new to rogue-likes
and it is only 5 bucks on steam atm

I've been playing a series of adventure games that are point and click games with a Sierra like system. They are not as hard as Sierra games but since there is seven of them (soon to be 8) there is a lot of game play time for free games and it is fun if you want to play a game with a Lucas Arts difficulty and a Sierra like style then these are great games. It is a game that delves into paranormal things and each game is short but they are all free and fun to play.
My suggestion this time around is a Finnish-indie game called "Project Black Sun" by Starflower Games.
To quote my comment of Desura, "PBS" (clever apprevition indeed) is to put simply a exellent mix of Metroidvania exploration, Metal Sluggish animation and style and gameplay and good olde MS-DOS Keen SFX (and controls if you play on keyboard) and Shadowgroundish soundtrack. Very well done blend.
Sure you can lots of graffics being implmented this game from some other games (or at least very well imitated), but that didn't stop Terraria either. And I say 5 euros/7 USA dollars is really worth it.
You can buy both stan-alone version at Indievania or buy a "Steamish" Desura version, the price is same though.
Here's some links:

According to developers, there's a Xbox360-control support for Windows-version.
Mac-version is also avaible, and they're planning to release Linux-version eventually.
Have fun.

I know how much Jason likes MTG so I'm surprised he hasn't come across this particular gem. It's called Wagic and it's similar to Duels of the Planeswalker except it doesn't have multiplayer, the graphics aren't as great, and it is otherwise superior in every way. Originally designed as an indie game for the PSP, it also has a PC port and will soon have a release for iOS systems.
Wagic focuses on single player gameplay vs AI opponents. There are several gamemodes and an economy system where the more games you win the more money you have to buy new cards. Additional decks to purchase will also unlock as you win more games. At last count there were over 3000 supported cards, each supported by the AI. Additional AI decks can be custom built using a simple text editor. Cards can also be customized, potentially allowing for games other than MTG to be played using the Wagic engine.
Graphically Wagic is inferior to Duels but is still quite pleasant to look at. One unfortunate drawback is that the MTG card images have to be downloaded separately due to copyright issues. However they're not that difficult to find.
Joakim Sandberg who made the Noitu Love tends to make hard puzzle/combat platformers.
He has a few games on his site that are freely available except for Noitu Love 2 which is priced at $10.
His current project is refining an old concept of his that he has submitted for the IGF(Independant Games Festival)of 2012.
It is based of Ivory Springs ... http://konjak.org/index.php?folder=9&file=27 ...
he upgraded the graphics and improved the gameplay mechanics to create
The Iconoclasts at http://konjak.org/index.php?folder=4&file=30
He released a trailer for this game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Bv8-RZ3vljw
The game he released freely is more like a beta. I'm guessing after the IGF he will release the game for cash as he done for the Noitu Love sequel: ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ysO4YfKM1E0 )
I like his games because he has implemented story that complements the gameplay without detracting from it. Even if LK doesn't mention this.. I guessing a few of you will like this guy's games.
Abobo's Big Adventure. This game is an amazing throwback to some of the greatest NES games ever made. Best of all, it's free!
A nice roguelike with a lore objects and a nice tileset.
Good news everyone !!
