RAW was good tonight. It was definitely more solid than Elimination Chamber. EC seemed to have suffered from very weak transitions between the main matches. RAW tonight was much more solid by comparison.
Blog has been pretty good too. Just a visual thing, but if you want to play around a little bit, maybe you can add matches in bold. For instance, have the next line telling us the match:
Santino vs. Daniel Bryan
I think that will help those of us who may be looking for key points, after we've read your post.
Here are some other thoughts I had about tonight:
-Sheamus vs. Mark Henry. It was a good match in a lot of ways. Just last year, When Henry was working his Hall of Pain, Sheamus didn't stand a chance against him. However, you look at tonight, he not only held his own, but pretty near dominated the match. It did a lot of good in building up Sheamus towards Wrestlemania.
-Daniel Bryan vs. Santino. It was good for Bryan. It showed off his submission skills. His "burying" Santino will help bring heat towards him. It'll be exciting to see Punk vs. Bryan tomorrow though.
-Wade Barrett suffered a dislocated elbow. It's great news that it isn't broken, but he's definitely out for a little while. Don't know if he'll be healed up enough for Wrestlemania though. Real shame too. Cody, R Truth, Kofi, and Ziggler were also sporting injuries, but they don't appear to be too serious.
-Punk/Jericho is going to be an exciting match. People complain about how Royale Rumble ended, but I feel that if they didn't do it this way, the anticipation wouldn't be quite as high as it is right now.
-Undertaker/HHH part 3. Not only their last match, but in Hell in a cell too! I can tell you, that is WAY better than having HBK as special guest referee any day. They are running towards the end of their careers, but they are going to give us one hell of a last ride, and I can't wait for it. (the match is official, but idk if HBK will be involved or not)
-John Cena's promo. Easily the best promo he's given yet. I have understood some of the complaints he's gotten; about how he's gotten stale and whatnot. However, this promo felt special. You can feel he put his all into it, and you know he'll deliver what he promised.
I may be on the minority here, but I'm rooting for Cena. He's done a HELL of a job promoting this match, and building up to it. Especially given the fact that the Rock has been making movies the whole time. I'm not a fan of the poop jokes or his "Super Cena" mode (which I'm pretty sure he can beat Goku in that mode), but I am a fan of Cena the wrestler, and I hope he wins over Rock on April 1st.
btw, apparently Cena isn't the only one in WWE who feels the way he did. someone in WWE sent in an anonymous text to pwinsider. I'll just say that the Rock's involvement in this has been pretty much just to put himself over, as he has done nothing to help the WWE.
Keep up the good work, Kane. Been enjoying your reviews, and I look forward to next week. :D
